Some cool skills of mine include my voice impersonations! Some favorites of mine are Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, and all the Disney Princesses from the official Disney Princess Lineup, as well as other iconic cartoon characters like Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls. I can also imitate baby noises!
About Me
Hi! My name is Amanda Cielo! My pronouns are she/her/hers and they/them. I'm a Mexican American singer and actress based in Texas. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and attended the North East School of the Arts before graduating and attending Wright State University for my B.F.A in Musical Theatre. Recently, I also graduated with my MBA from Texas A&M University-San Antonio! I'm excited to continue being a working actor by pursuing voice acting and theatre!
My love of theatre started after I saw a touring production of The Lion King. Ever since then, I've been wholly invested in theatre! I also grew up being a huge animation and anime nerd, and always went to conventions whenever I could. Because of anime, video games, and cartoons, and the fantastic voice actors who bring these characters to life, I was inspired to become a voice actor!
Some fun facts about me include:
I'm a huge horror movie enthusiast; I've seen pretty much every Stephen King horror adaptation!
I'm an avid foodie, and Houston is the best place to explore different types of food and culture, but San Antonio is the best place for tacos. I also cook and bake frequently, and am always experimenting with new recipes!
I love directing plays or pieces from time to time! My dream play to direct is Crimes of The Heart!
